Nigerian Politics - Nigerians reject Vice President as the next President Elect
According to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Vice President automatically becomes President if the incumbent president resigns or dead but some political elite along with some unidentified group have rejected the Vice President as the President elect. The reason behind the refusal of the Vice President Goodluck Jonathan as the next President elect is simple that he is from the South-South region of Nigeria; the group stated that it is not yet time for the south south to rule Nigeria but the time for the Northern Nigeria. The former governor aspirant of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) in Kebbi state, Alhaji Hassan Kangiwa has made his position known
