Lagos — As the debate on zoning rages on a question needs be asked. Has the PDP as a body ever met to take a binding resolution on zoning or is it that a fragment of the party leaders got together informally and made an arrangement of convenience to suit their personal ego? Why all the hue and cry about zoning?
Let us take our minds back to the distant past, even before the advent of the PDP. All our past rulers (apart from Ironsi, Sonekan and Obasanjo, who came in by accident) have always been from one zone.
